Items Guide

The Items Guide explains how to research unique items, set items, gear stats, common upgrades, and useful combinations in Diablo II: Resurrected. It gives players context for deciding which drops matter at different stages of leveling, farming, gearing, and trading.

Unique Items

Open Unique Items

Browse every unique item across Normal, Exceptional, and Elite tiers. Filter by type or stat, and save items to Favorites for quick access. Below are some of the most commonly used and sought-after uniques.

Early Game

These are the uniques you are happy to slap on right away while leveling. They are useful, attainable, and the kind of drops that make you go, "Oh nice, I can actually use that."

Hotspur

Normal/Nightmare, it's always nice to have fire resist and life. Nothing flashy, but super useful especially for Diablo when you don't have great resists.

Goblin Toe

Crushing Blow this early just feels awesome. It's always satisfying to see chunks of life come off an enemy when CB hits.

Magefist

This is a very OP drop if you can find it early. Awesome way to get some FCR early, these are an easy upgrade you will be happy to wear.

Goldwrap

A fun early belt that gives you a little Magic Find and just feels like a nice value upgrade while leveling and farming.

Tarnhelm

A classic early helm where +skills and Magic Find together make it really easy to throw on and get value.

Mid Game

These drops feel like real upgrades. They are more attainable than true chase items, but strong enough to help carry you through until you start to really piece your build together after beating Hell.

Rockstopper

A super practical helm with resists and survivability. Not the best item in the game, but man, it gets the job done.

Duriel's Shell

Cannot Be Frozen, resists, life... this is one of those armors where if it drops, you are probably wearing it for a while.

Lidless Wall

Don't have a Spirit? Try and trade for a cheap Lidless. It is a really solid caster shield that can absolutely hold you over.

Waterwalk

A really nice pair of boots with life, faster movement, and good all-around value. Easy item to be happy about seeing.

String of Ears

This is one of those belts that just quietly makes your character feel sturdier. Damage reduction and life leech go a long way.

End Game

Here's where you get that dopamine rush. These are the chase uniques everyone knows and every build needs. When you see that unid'd base item... this is why this is the best game.

Harlequin Crest (Shako)

The classic. If this drops, you are excited. +Skills, life, mana, and Magic Find all packed into one iconic helm.

Arachnid Mesh

Getting +skills and Faster Cast Rate from your belt slot is just nasty. This is a huge caster upgrade and always feels good to find.

War Traveler

A staple end game boot with Magic Find, damage, and the kind of all-around usefulness that keeps it relevant forever.

Stone of Jordan

One of the most iconic rings in Diablo. When one drops, it just feels different.

Mara's Kaleidoscope

A super clean end game amulet with +skills and big resistances. One of those items almost any build is happy to throw on.

Set Items

Open Set Items

Browse set items and full set bonuses. Partial set combinations often give surprisingly powerful bonuses from just two or three pieces. Below are some of the most useful combos players actually build around.

These are some of the set combinations people actually use, stash, or build around because the partial bonuses are way better than you might expect. Some are awesome for leveling, some are great for Magic Find, and some are just really efficient value from a couple of slots.

Tal Rasha's Armor + Amulet + Belt

A classic MF combo because the 3-piece partial bonus adds 65% Magic Find, and the armor and belt already bring their own Magic Find on top of that. Full Tal's is also still a very strong Sorceress end game setup.

Angelic Wings + 2 Angelic Halos

Famous for the huge attack rating boost from the partial set bonus, plus extra life from the amulet. A classic combo for leveling melee builds that just need to hit.

Death's Hand + Death's Guard

A super strong early combo because it gives 30% Increased Attack Speed, Cannot Be Frozen, resistances, and life leech from just two slots.

Tancred's Weird + Tancred's Hobnails

A budget Magic Find combo people still remember because the partial set bonuses push the amulet to a huge 78% Magic Find.

Sigon's Gloves + Belt + Boots

One of the best leveling partial sets in the game, giving 30% Increased Attack Speed, 10% Life Leech, 50% Magic Find, and the bigger belt size all from three easy pieces.

Bane's Authority + Bane's Oathmaker

A really cool early combo because the belt gives 10% Faster Cast Rate and life right away, while the weapon has scaling damage that helps it stay useful through Normal.

Gear Explorer

Open Gear Explorer

The Gear Explorer lets you search across runewords, unique items, and set items simultaneously by name or stat. It's the fastest way to answer "what gives me FCR?" or "what options do I have for boots?"

Tips for using Gear Explorer

  • →Search by stat (e.g. "faster cast rate", "life leech") to see all item types that provide it.
  • →Use the type filter to narrow results to a specific slot like Boots, Helm, or Shield.
  • →Results show runewords, uniques, and set items side by side for easy comparison.
  • →Click any result to go directly to that item's detail page.
